Tonight’s Monday Night Football contest should be an intriguing match between the Green Bay Packers and Las Vegas Raiders. Both teams are looking to jumpstart their season, but the biggest storyline is Raiders WR Davante Adams facing his former team for the first time — if he’s cleared to play after dealing with a shoulder injury much of last week. The NFL odds give the slight edge to the Raiders at -2.5, but I expect this game to be close throughout.

The Arizona Cardinals head to the East Coast to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in NFL action today. The Eagles are in a three-way tie for the best record in the NFC and will look to nab first place and that coveted first-round bye.

As much for their team going as far as the quarter final off the back of a seven-match winless streak in the warm-up to the tournament and for hosting what will be remembered as one of the most exciting World Cups in football history.

With four matches remaining and as many teams none of which are pre-tournament’s main favourites Germany and Brazil a few would dare predict the winner at this point. England, Belgium, France and perennial dark horses Croatia have all got equal chances heading into the semi-final.
